Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox, who studied for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s was accepted. Her budget was supplemented with a student stipend and part-time work. Lennox felt that her skills aren't the same as her Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other options she could pursue. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976, in the group called Dragons Playground. The group broke up before they appeared in I.T.V's talent program New Faces. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she sang in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. She met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox started work with Diva in 1992. This was her debut solo album. Both commercially as well as critically the album was a massive achievement. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album was Released in the month of October 2014. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top blues soul tracks from her the time of her childhood. In addition in May 2019 Lennox has released Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to an art installation she designed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You go... Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25, 1954. At the end of the 70s, she gained a little fame when members of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992, by releasing her debut album Diva. It featured many well-known songs, including Walking on Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa her 1995 studio album has cover versions of songs such asNo MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale.
